The Laundry is a neighborhood Cape Town operation focused on high-quality fabric care and quick turnaround times for local residents and the busy short-term rental sector. We partner with Airbnb hosts and property managers across the city to take the hassle out of guest turnovers, making sure their bedding and linens are crisp, spotless, and delivered right on schedule. We are currently looking for 4 dependable Delivery Drivers (Code 8) to join our active Cape Town crew. In this role, you will be the gears of our mobile operation, managing the daily collection of unwashed linens and dropping off freshly cleaned packs directly to properties and local doorsteps. Everyday Tasks & Responsibilities

• Transport Logistics: Load up, transport, and hand over laundry bags, fresh sheets, and packed linens to short-term rental properties and local residential clients.

• Client Customer Service: Act as a reliable, polite representative of our local shop when interacting with property hosts and home owners during drop-offs.

• Stock & Vehicle Handling: Help stack the vehicle efficiently, carry laundry loads safely into the shop, and perform simple daily check-ups on the company vehicle to ensure it is running smoothly.

• Route Management: Work closely with our shop front-desk assistant to schedule your drop-off order, avoiding heavy city traffic to protect our delivery timelines.

What We Need From You (Requirements)

• Driving Credentials: A valid South African Code 8 driver’s license alongside a clean, safe record on the road.

• Cape Town Navigation: Strong familiarity with local Cape Town routes, central suburbs, and major city bypasses.

• Physical Fitness: Comfort handling the active side of the job, which includes lifting and shifting heavy bundles of textiles throughout the day.

• Punctual Habits: A track record of being early and reliable, ensuring our Airbnb hosts never have to wait around for guest check-ins.

• Friendly Approach: Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude when working alongside our in-house laundry crew.
